How many colors exist in the world? If we consider all the thousands of nuances, they are probably infinite. But if Matteo Cibic were creating them surely everything would have another meaning. An internationally renowned artist and designer, he signed a special palette of 40 colors for Gobbetto. His proposal represents not a simple visual stimulus, but something that reaches deep inside, a sensory path capable of bringing out new awareness with a certain delicacy and elegance,while respecting the material.
Beginning.
with PAPYRUS WHITE, a type of white that came from the genius of this artist to represent the delicate beauty of sun-kissed Nile papyrus fibers, a pure white that tends toward a very slight warm gray tone. If you have ever been to northern Europe, you will have seen that at sunset the sky is painted with special hues that make you feel a magical, almost fairy-tale atmosphere. That’s where our NORDIC SUNRISE comes from, an embrace between soft pink and taupe that recalls this very moment. On this truly unique journey it takes only a few moments to reach faraway lands, Madagascar, for example. Inspired by its red soils, TERRA ROSSA was born, precisely, a warm color reminiscent of tradition, stories of fertile lands, rainforests and nature’s gifts. There is nothing more rejuvenating than to feel that sense of calm and serenity that tempers and regenerates as soon as you enter a forest. INTO THE WOODS was born with this idea, an unobtrusive and soft deep green color ideal for making people maintain concentration even in workplaces. From the forest it is easy to get to the sea, get in touch with LAGUNA, a harmonious interplay of blues reminiscent of the Venetian one and make you feel the tranquility of the sea and the wonder of the landscape.
